Certain versions of Type 3 have been included in the “VICnet” (type M1-PP) and have been applied here successfully for years. Type 3 is ideally suited to adapt to every project and every practical situation. It can easily be adjusted on-site due to it containing knockout connections. If, while on-site, it appears that a size adjustment is required, the modules can be easily disassembled on the spot in order to reach the correct size. Even placing the chamber over existing cables or conduits is easy. Are the cables deep? Use a 2-metre-deep access chamber. Do you want to connect many pipes next to each other? Use a long access chamber. Do you want to connect a 400mm or even a 630mm casing pipe? Based on a sketch or drawing, we will determine the ideal plan together. We then make the chamber to size and deliver it ready-to-use. A flexible and versatile access chamber system that adapts to your needs and is easy to install on site.
Underground protection
Handholes are placed in underground fiber optic networks to provide protection and storage for splice sleeves (GCOs), spare cables, and accessories. Crosscube offers an interesting variation option within Type 3 that you can easily expand for the storage of 1 to 2 welding sleeves. The standard plastic cover for underground use can also be easily exchanged for a cover construction with load class B125 or D400. This is another example of how well this access chamber can adapt to any situation in practice.
Sustainable
Type 3 is constructed from recycled plastic materials and is fully recyclable. This means that our access and inspection chambers meet the requirements of today, as well as of the future.
