Crosscube Challenges

Holland Spoor station, The Hague

Crosscube connects. Challenges with certainty.

The assignment: Optimising the tram line connections with the Holland Spoor rail station in The Hague, Netherlands. Adjusting the HTM tram lines near the station including access chambers with partly gas-sprung covers within certain specifications. Since the needs required a bespoke solution, we mobilised all our partners to ensure that we could deliver this project in a timely manner.

Access chamber solution

Crosscube played a key coordination role in this project, bringing in knowledge and an extensive network when it comes to the development and delivery of the access chambers and covers. Being in direct contact with the subcontractor meant that we were able to realise the project on time from a flexible set-up. Partnership, to us, means supporting each other, executing the project as efficiently and effectively as possible, and doing so in a way that helps us all to deliver on time. For example, during the execution of the project the contractor’s team was not able finish the work in time. To remedy this and ensure smooth continuance, we connected this contractor to one of our specialists who could provide support in completing the work and delivering according to the project plan timing.

Result

A project that was completed to the full satisfaction of all partners, and delivered on time.
